/> </strong></div><div><strong>“The Woodstock of art”, that’s how I would describe the overwhelmingly crazy art-happening Art Basel Miami, which takes place in Miami the first weekend of December. Since Woodstock marked the death of the hippie-era one might wonder  if Miami Art Basel will eventually lead to the death of Graffiti and Street Art? Definitely not, if you ask me. It is overwhelming for sure, but it is also a visual world of madness that is unique and absolutely incomparable in all its glory.<br

/> My mission this year was to combine painting with a little bit of time off for a rigorous art-safari as well as some chilling. I had a busy and hectic year behind me, with lots of walls and exhibition canvases painted and I figured, what better place to wrap up this year than in Miami?</strong></div><div></div><div><strong> <a

The first wall that was lined up for me had all the ingredients for a great wall: it was classic, old and contemporary. DERO was one of the writers I was inspired by growing up, so being part on the same wall as him was an absolute honor, he sure is a true stylemaster. It was also a pleasure to share the space with YES2, GREED (yes, he’s back too) and ESER.<br

/> My second wall on N Miami Ave was a collab with my awesome neighbor from New York City, NEVER. Our styles are very different but they blend together well. NEVER has a background in classic graffiti and in graphic design, as do I.  I also made a pledge to myself to make it to the beach this time around, and I did. I also managed to make it to the “real Art Basel” at the Miami Convention Center and although I prefer Wynwood over “high-art”, it’s definitely worth a visit, there’s tons of stuff to see. My week in Miami ended as fast as it had begun and even though I really appreciated my week of Woodstock under the sun, this hippie is longing for some Bushwick concrete under the sneakers. </strong></div><div></div><div>Best</div><div>Rubin</div><p>&nbsp;</p><p><img
